The wings are killer. Laid back spot with lots of table and bar seating. Good place to catch a game but I came by for a quick lunch. They said they also deliver to nearby businesses.

We came here to get a quick bite before a concert at DAR Constitution Hall. I was not expecting much, but I ended up having a great time. We sat at the bar and ordered something quick (a burger for me) and a beer. The bartender was super nice and talked with us for a while. The food was fresh and tasty, and they worked with me to ensure they could do things gluten-free (except the fries). The place looked like a sports bar, with TVs and banners throughout. We did not stay for very long, but we really had a good time.

Service was very attentive. We did sit at the bar and it wasn't very busy but I've been in other bars in similar scenarios where the bartenders have seemed distracted. I ordered the double double burger and my friend had the exchange burger. We ordered them medium-rare and medium and they came out perfect. The beer and liquor selections were acceptable. (I was a little surprised they didn't have any amber beers on draft -- possibly at all.) It says it's the oldest sports bar in DC. I guess having TVs is what makes it a sports bar because I didn't see pool tables, darts or any other games. I live in Hawaii and the prices were comparable to what I'm used to paying. I was expecting it to be a little less.

This place is lit! Don't believe any of these naysayers. The bartenders here actually take the time to get to know you -- Darnell learned my name the very first time I walked in! There is a nice selection of bourbons and other liquors available. The food is really good too. I highly recommend the lamb burger and the "Vaughn Special" (bacon cheese fries!). Worth every penny. Located very close to the White House.

Great post-softball joint. If you come looking for gourmet, don't bother. But if you want a hole in the wall, look no further.
